I like this photo because the background has a very shallow depth or field with fairly neutral colors, so I feel like it makes her laptop case really standout. I also like how it worked out that she was wearing a Maryland with the same color and logo, making the photo overall very uniform and informative.  I love this photo because this was the first time I started to photograph with the emphasis on emotion. I like how you can understand the situation and the emotions present  before even reading a caption.  I like this photo because this was the first time I ever shot manually in a dark space. It was really tricky for me, as I kept playing around with the settings to get one that was just right. I also like the placement of everything in the photo, how the subject is off to the far side, and then draws your eyes back to the corner and then to the string of lights.  I love this photo because I love golden hour and the warm light that it casts in photo...

I like this photo because even though Madeleine and Liz are in the corner on one side of the photo, Madeleine's arm fills up the rest of the frame. I also loved how bright the photo was because they set up a desk lamp to get better selfie lighting in their picture. I love this plant wall in the Footnotes Café at McKeldin Library, and I liked being able to capture some of Jenna's laptop stickers while she studied. I like this photo because it shows the name of the dorm I've lived in all of freshman year. I also love the columns on this building, and having Alexandra on the stairs shows the size in a better perspective. I like this photo because it shows a lot of emotion that wasn't staged in any way, I was just taking photos to practice as we hung out. I just wish that the shutter speed had been a bit quicker to minimize the blur on the left side. The reflective lenses in Christina's glasses is my favorite part of this photo, because...

I really like this shot because of the orange light on her face and in the background. I also like that you're able to read some of her shirt. I also think this photo has some depth to it. This was one of the most exciting places to take photos because I had to be constantly adjusting the camera to keep up with the changing lights.  This is one of my favorite shots because of the use of light and the way that the guitars mirror each other diagonally. I like that there's green light in the back and a yellow shine on the guitar. I also think it's an example one of my stronger compositions, especially in a photo with a deeper depth of field.  I like the way that everyone is naturally arranged around the piano in this photo. I like that the piano is visual and the way that you can sort of garner individual expressions and group cohesion. This is one of my favorite shots because I felt it was the first time I truly captured raw emotion. I think this photo tells ...

I like this photo because the background isn't too distracting and I like the fact that you can see that he is working. I also like how he isn't centered in the image because it makes it more appealing. I like this photo because I think the lighting is really nice. I also like how it's close up so you're able to see that he is working but you can also see what he's doing. I really like this photo because I like how you can see the two girls and the game they're looking at. I also really like the color scheme here because there's the balloons and the game and those colors sort of make it pop because the rest of the background is a little boring. I like this picture because it's so simple. I think the background is simple and it doesn't take away from the girl. I also really like how you can see the stickers on her computer because it sort of tells you a little bit about her. I like this photo because I think the color...

I think this photo has really nice color and I like how the sun is shining right on the bracelets. I like how you can tell that the subject is deep in thought and how he is kind of canopied by the tree. I like how the photo is clear but there is still motion. The photo looks like it is from the perspective of the person throwing the frisbee. I really like the light in this photo and how bright the dog looks.  I think the shot is really interesting and you can tell there is a cool story behind it.  I like how this photo really shows the relationship between the dog and its owner. The shot is cropped in a really interesting way. I like how you can't see the subjects face and the focus is on the shoes.  I like the focus of this photo and how blurred the grass is. Even though there is no dog in the photo you can clearly tell what the photo is about.  I like how the photo is kind of grainy and there are napkins and bowls and plate...
