Jenna Cohen- Week 4: Composition

Niya Pattasseril and Kelsey Tomas, both Government and Politics majors, study in the Cambridge Community Center Sunday afternoon. After their numerous hours of reading a week, they get together to review notes and prepare for the upcoming class lectures.  Mia Sampson, freshman Mechanical Engineering major, studies for her Computer Aided Design, or CAD, exam. In this class, she must set dimensions to create a computerized drawing for various types of projects.  Marie Panday, freshman Environmental Science and Policy major,  creates a timeline of humanity in preparation for her BioScience midterm exam. She said she uses the blackboard to "fully visualize the progression of humans."

February 27, 2019 - Nathan Spicer-Davis, a freshman mechanical engineering major, pats down a tray of veggie fried rice for the Maryland Food Recovery Network at the North Dining Hall. Recovery at the North Dining Hall begins at 11:40 p.m. on Tuesdays. February 27, 2019 - Sophomores Simran Bhattacharyya, a psychology major, and Haleigh Coar, a community health major, transfer leftover food to aluminum containers. Both students are volunteering as part of their pre-trip service requirement for their alternative break trip this Spring.  February 27, 2019 - Sophomores Simran Bhattacharyya, a psychology major, and Haleigh Coar, a community health major, chat with fellow sophomore Sherry Fan, a physiology and neurobiology major, before the next load of food arrives in the kitchen.
