Week 9 - Joe Lotano
Apr. 9, 2019
Freshman journalism major Brandon Simberg sits in the press box to cover the
Maryland baseball team's game against William & Mary on Tuesday. Simberg is
using the Maryland Stat Broadcast to keep up with the Terps' play.
(left to right) Freshman materials engineering major Adam Flesher, junior
mechanical engineering major Bryan Mark, and freshman journalism major Adam Logue,
are all operations assistants for the UMD athletic department.
Eric Thomas, 65, of Clinton, Maryland, runs concessions for Maryland's baseball
game. Thomas was serving up a lot of popcorn, as the treat was on sale
for one dollar on the day of the game.
Maryland starting pitcher, junior Tuck Tucker, rifles his pitch to the plate as
William & Mary's Matt McDermott, a sophomore infielder, looks to get on base.
Tim Sara (left), 57, of Alexandria, Virginia, and Kevin Cone (right), 52, of Fairfax Station,
Virginia, watch their sons play on the road at Maryland Stadium. Jack Cone, a freshman,
and Jamie Sara, a junior, hope to come away with victory for the Tribe.
Pitcher Tuck Tucker winds up and throws the pitch,
hoping to stifle William & Mary's hot start.
