Week 6- Christina Armeni

Caroline Newhoff, a senior government and politics and art history double major, works her stand at the Step Up for Spring Break event. This event is hosted by the University of Maryland Health Center and took place in Hornbake Plaza on campus. The event was designed to prepare students to have a healthy spring break. Newhoff would give a participant a different scenario based on the score they got in the Skee-Ball game. The scenarios had to do with how to delegate a situation. 



Lillyanna House, a freshman kinesiology major, participates in one of the stands at the Step Up for Spring Break event. Carly Cottone, a CARE outreach liaison, runs the stand. Cottone provides each participant with a scenario about consent and asks them to throw the ball in either the red light hole, green light hole or yellow light hole based on how consensual a situation was. CARE is a advocacy and wellness program on campus that respond and educate to stop violence.
