Week 7- Cami Gore

March 20, 2019- 22 year old Morgan Gingerich stands on a dock in Downtown Annapolis. Gingerich grew up performing with the Talent Machine Company at the Francis Scott Key Auditorium located just a short walk from Dock Street. On days where the company had multiple shows, the performers would walk to the docks during their breaks to eat and rest.
March 20, 2019- Gingerich performs a tilt jump in Downtown Annapolis. The docks are suitable for dancers to jump on because dancers are used to practicing on sprung wood floors. 
March 20, 2019- Morgan Gingerich poses in an arabesque. Gingerich is a junior undergraduate dance  major at Towson University.

March 20, 2019- Gingerich holds an elevated straddle position . Daily ballet technique classes give her the strength to sustain advanced poses such as this.
March 20, 2019- Gingerich gracefully rolls over her toes into a double stag position.
March 20, 2019- 22 year old Morgan Gingerich stands backwards showing off her tattoo that reads, "break a leg." Dancers use that phrase to wish each other good luck.
March 20, 2019- Gingerich shows off a jump that she used to  do frequently during her time with the Talent Machine Company. She remembers practicing this jump on the docks before showtime. 
March 20, 2019- Gingerich strikes a flexed-foot tilt position. Dancers typically learn this pose with pointed feet, but advanced dancers like Gingerich are able to take the pose to artistic levels.
