Week 4- Composition Cami Gore

February 26, 2019-21 year old Sarah Cavanaugh does her homework in her Terrapin Row apartment. One sticker on her laptop reads, "EAZY SEASON" in support of her favorite singer, G-Eazy. 
February 25, 2019- 19 year old Gabby Esposito takes a break between classes at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Like Cavanaugh (above), Esposito sports a sticker that reads, "MAKE LOVE NOT WAR." 
February 25, 2019- Esposito's laptop has stickers representing her advocacy for equality. Additionally,  three of her stickers are from her favorite television shows: The Office, Friends, and Grey's Anatomy. 

February 25, 2019- 18 year old Kaitlyn McGuire has one sticker on the inside of her laptop. She refers to it as, "butt dog."

February 25, 2019- McGuire rotates the screen of her laptop back to get a better view of "butt dog." The silly sticker makes her smile while doing homework.

February 25, 2019- 18 year old Emily Faulkner holds up her decorated laptop. The "E" stands for Emily.

February 25, 2019- 18 year old feminist Alison Moon finishes up some work at Ritchie Coliseum. Her favorite sticker reads, "EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN."

February 26, 2019- 20 year old Margaret Brown prepares for her presentation in Level IV Ballet at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Her one sticker emphasizes her support for women in math fields.

February 26, 2019- 18 year old Olivia Shamy prepares for her presentation in Level IV Ballet at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland.

Febraury 26, 2019- Shamy used to have a laptop filled with stickers, but recently replaced them with a new case. She said she prefers a cleaner look.

Week 8- Hannah Davidson

On Sunday afternoon sorority Alpha Omicron Pi and Fraternity Zeta Psi threw an event called "Play Outside With AOII and Zeta Psi" to raise money for their respective philanthropies. They raised a total of $5,000.  Students play a game of catch in front of the chapel during the event.  Olivia Campbell, Elizabeth Roche, Ella Mitchell, and Caroline Fleetwood hold up their new shirts they received at the event Edible cookie dough was sold to help raise money for the philanthropies, and was offered in 8 different flavors. Students get BBQ, a food that was included in the $5 ticket to attend.  Members of Alpha Omicron Pi play corn hole, another activity that was set up at Sunday. Students play an intense game of tug-of-war, which was made tricky that day because of the wind Members of AOII begin to clean up the event at 4p.m., when the event ended

Week 5 - Light and Emotion - Shauneen Miranda

Week 11 - Colleen Neely

In the Catholic Church, Easter is the most important day of the year. The day celebrates the rise of Jesus Christ to life after enduring crucifixion on Good Friday to pay for the sins of humanity. Many parishes undergo days of preparation for this event. At the Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier (CCSFX) in Hunt Valley, MD, volunteers spend days preparing the church for the Easter Sunday Masses. The baptismal font at the front of the church is adorned with flowers to remind Catholics of the washing away of sins that also occurs at baptism. In the Catholic Church, parents choose baptism for their children and it is a sacrament typically performed during infancy. As is proclaimed by the banner, Jesus Christ rises on Easter Sunday. This event is considered proof that God will triumph over Satan, that good will always overcome evil.
